The Summer School is addressed to:

PhD Students

Master Graduating Students

Early-Stage Researchers

Future European Entrepreneurs

Objectives

The aim of the Summer School “Photonics for Health” is at focusing on different applications of photonic devices on theme “Health” and at disseminating the results of some European Projects, giving information about the most recent and relevant research topics.

This Summer School will give to the participants the unique opportunity of exploiting the potentialities of the European network, in the context of Photonics21 Platform.

Guided visit to Pale di San Martino:

Guided by expert mountain guides, we will visit one of the most enchanting places of the Dolomites: the Pala Group.
Following a short trip on a cable way, we will reach the path bringing us to the summit of the mountain, to eventually enjoy a typical Trentino lunch in the Cima Rosetta hut.

Goodbye Day

  • Hotel Check Out
  • Finish of the School and Graduation at Clivet SPA
  • Goodbye Party: Winery Guided Tour & Tasting
  • Bus Transfert to Treviso and Venice Airport

Case studies from EU funded projects

Venue and Accommodation

Sharing of ideas and fostering of interactions is facilitated by the nice and stimulating location in the heart of Dolomites Mountains. Indeed, San Martino di Castrozza is one of the most beautiful environment in the Northern Italy, offering incomparable sights of the mountains and a lot of occasions of relaxing with excellent food, sport activities and excursions in the surroundings.

The students will be accommodated at Cima Rosetta Hotel, a 3 stars Hotel with a SPA in the center of San Martino di Castrozza.
